This is the NEWS we want to share with all our neighbors, whether they are members of a religious group or not.
YOU can have a living, personal relationship with God.
Frankly, it has changed our whole view of life. We know the problems you face - we face the same ones. We cry. We hurt. We become sick. We die. But we face our world and its problems in the assurance that we are not alone. God is with us. We belong to God, through faith in his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. In a world filled with fear, change, and heartbreak, it's great to know you are not alone.
Did You Know?
The Bible is the best-selling but least understood book in the world. Have you ever met anyone who could answer the question, "In 200 words or less, what does the Bible really say?"
Here is the Answer.
The Bible teaches:
- That we can have a personal relationship with God and live with Him forever in eternal happiness. Why? Not because we've earned it, but because God loves us and wants us to know Him! According to Romans Chapter 6, "The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
- That every person has sinned: "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Sin separates all of us from God and each other.
- That God is both just and loving. Because He is just, God must punish sin. But because He also loves us, He gave His only Son to take our punishment. That's why Jesus said, "Whosoever believes in me (Jesus) shall not perish but have eternal life."
- That Jesus Christ is the door we must enter to have a relationship wit God. As the Son of God, He paid for our sins in His death on the cross in order to reunite us to God.
- That faith is the key which opens the door into God's love and friendship. Faith is trusting in Jesus alone as Savior and Lord of your life. The Bible says, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith."
May We Help?
This new, living relationship with God, through Jesus Christ, creates a caring community that reaches out a hand to all of its neighbors, so . . .
We would like to be your neighbors . . .
- to listen when you want to talk
- to understand when you are troubled
- to be near when you are afraid
- to help when you have a need
- to share when you want to study
