The purpose of Covenant Christian Reformed Church is:
- to Proclaim God's Glory "The Chief end of man is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever."
- by Promoting God's Kingdom "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness." Matthew 6:33
- and Preparing God's People "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists;
and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ." Ephesians 4:11-12
It is the vision of Covenant Christian Reformed Church to emphasize the basics of Christian life and ministry, including worship, nurturing, community, and outreach.
- In worship we seek to praise God through lively singing, believing prayer and attention to His Word; the Bible.
- Through nurturing we endeavor to teach and serve one another to promote spiritual maturity.
- By community we mean the forging of strong relationships with each other for mutual support, to know one another, have fun together, and grow together. We see small group ministry as the best vehicle to promote community.
- Outreach is the expression of our love and care for God's world, especially those created in His image.
We want to extend the compassionate care of Christ to all we can serve. It is our fervent desire to learn and grow with others, and to have our neighbors join us on our spiritual journey.
